Mystérieux mycètes, une biodiversité discrète de formes et de couleurs au Musée Bernard d'Agesci à Niort

(Re)turned to mycology through photography, Vincent Lagardère offers a series of photographic portraits captured at ground level in the humus of the woods and pastures of New Aquitaine. He tries to share with you his curious, deliberately accessible and aesthetic vision of this strange kingdom and of these curious and unusual species yet visible on our doorstep.
The careful, slow and aesthetic observation of these tiny models also opens up to other creatures barely visible to the naked eye, the discreet and yet monstrous myxomycetes. The apparent similarities of these blobs with mushrooms actually hide a completely different mode of existence that today ignites the imagination of their observers with their surprising capacities.
