Today, I tested a very trendy sport for you: stand-up paddleboarding!
In fact, it's a long board on which you have to balance, which is not always very easy!
There is something for all levels, Niort Beach offers 1 hour initiation with an instructor for those who have never done one, like me or if you are looking for a challenge or a connoisseur of the activity, venture out for a 1h30 stand-up paddle hike.
It is a nautical and fun activity which allows you to discover Niort and its emblematic monuments in an original way and on the Sèvre!
Watch out for the short paddle descent, laughs and watering guaranteed! Don't worry, Jérôme will be there to guide you and advise you on the actions to adapt, but, like the canoe, you will have to row vertically if you want to move forward correctly. During the walk, admire the beauty of the surrounding landscapes, you can discover very beautiful natural places there.

As part of Niort Plage, water activities are offered during the season such as canoeing , kayak et pedalo, but also canoe trips and pony rides for children.
I would like to point out to you thatit is imperative to know how to swim and submerge for 25 meters to practice activities on the water.
