Medieval Recouvrance Festival in Niort

Organized by the “La Du Guesclin” association, The medieval festival of Recouvrance, à Niort, commemorates the liberation of the city from the English yoke by the constable Bertrand Duguesclin in 1373, in the heart of the Hundred Years Wars.
Lots of entertainment in various places: equestrian shows, knights' tournament, sword fights, medieval market and juggling.
