Route details
Description
A pleasant country stroll in an old rural village, Souché, established on the slopes of Lambon, at the foot of the Saint-Maixent church, and whose wine was prized by kings François 1er and Henry IV.
You will pass by the wheelbarrow path, an access route which allowed gardeners to reach the bank of the Lambon river, a tributary of the Sèvre Niortaise.
Please note: as this route takes busy streets, we recommend that you take all the usual precautions when traveling in groups.
Happy hiking and remember that you are not alone on the trails you are about to travel. We therefore invite you to respect nature: avoid picking flowers and plants, do not leave any trash behind, respect inhabited places, stay on the trails, keep dogs on a leash.
