Taxation: something new for rural lodges
The tax regime for renters of furnished tourist accommodation has just been modified by the finance law for 2016. The new provisions establish a equal treatment between different rental companies, whatever the name of the rentals and the membership of a label.
Thus, the new text deletes the reference to the notion of rural accommodation within the General Tax Code, on the one hand, in matters of income tax and, on the other hand, in the area of local taxation ( housing tax, property tax and business property tax). The law puts an end to the specific treatment that rural lodges benefited from.
Furnished rental: a professional from €15.000 income per year
The law on the financing of social security was passed on November 9, 2016. Furnished rental companies, which generate more than €15.000 in annual income, are now subject to payment of social security contributions (RSI).
