Centre d'Art Contemporain Photographique – Villa Pérochon (CACP)
The Center for Contemporary Photographic Art was established in 2013 in Villa Pérochon, the family home of the writer Ernest Pérochon, 1st Prize Goncourt des Deux-Sèvres. It is one of 6 French photographic art centers designated by the Ministry of Culture in 2011 and the only one in the Greater West, from Bordeaux to Nantes and from La Rochelle to Limoges. Its artistic direction is entrusted to "Pour l'Instant", organizer of the Meetings of Young International Photography, the keystone of the annual program of the association recognized as being of general interest in 2007. The CACP is made up of a garden, 'a gallery of 120 m2 offering 100 m. display racks (permanent place of creation and exhibition) and an artists' residence.
