More than 60 years after the closure of the small Bocage coal mine, the Mining Center brings you back to life the incredible history of
coal miners in the region. At the museum, expanded and renovated in 2018, become a miner, like Abel, Stanislas and Louis. Like them,
cross the room of the hanged, the surprising locker room and the lamp room, before “descending” into the reconstructed mine. Then go back to
day on the floor and let yourself be told the epic story of the black faces, their life at work and in the settlements, built to house the workers
and their families, and the stained glass windows by Carmelo Zagari in the chapel, a unique work in the region in homage to the black faces.
A 100% adventure for young and old!
