Experience Prehistory!

Explore the museum, the discovery trail and visit an exceptional megalithic site in Europe!
Nestled in a natural setting, the museum offers a journey to the heart of Prehistory illustrating the evolution of humanity from its origins to the Neolithic. Fundamental period during which agriculture appeared and man settled down and built massive funerary monuments like those at the archaeological site located very close to the museum. This necropolis, built more than 6000 years ago, reveals imposing tumulus, exceptionally well preserved and accessible.

In 2024, the museum is aiming for a new target with its unique exhibition “In Search of the Lost Arc”. A creation with a nod to the Olympic Games, honoring archers from prehistory to the present day.
