Asinerie du Baudet du Poitou

The Asinerie du Baudet du Poitou, an Echappées Nature site, is a must-see site set in 55 hectares of sensitive natural areas. This atypical farm is a centre for breeding, preserving and using the Poitou mulassier breeds: the Poitou baudet, the Poitou mulassier draught horse and the Poitou mule.
Throughout the year, guided or self-guided tours allow you to discover the site and its various residents, and meet the donkeys and their offspring in the summer months. Other activities are available by prior arrangement, including afternoons with the caretakers, picnics with a pack-saddle donkey and carriage rides.
To round off your visit to the site, there is a museum area and a gift shop.
